FAQ

  • Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at Physiotherapists working in Pelvic Health that are looking to advance their clinical skills.

  • Do I need prior training in Anorectal Physiotherapy

YES! This is an advanced practice course and the base anorectal will not be covered. It is a hands-on, practical course. (You can sign up for the Anorectal Online Course if you would like the theoretical component)

  • Can I attend this course online?

No, this course is only for live, in person participants

  • Do I have to be a model for the digital rectal examination

It is important for you to experience the process of an anorectal examination and as such we will be practicing the examination process on each other (whether you are male or female). We will be respectful of privacy. Whilst we try to be accommodating to everyone, participants who are not volunteering themselves cannot be guaranteed that they will be able to perform the examination on another participant and may end up attending the practical in an observational capacity only.
