Practical Component

The 2-day practical course will provide in person training of internal vaginal and rectal examination and manual therapy. It will have a clinical focus with a lot of integration of learning into implementable clinical practice.

    This course is aimed at Physiotherapists already working in pelvic health who are looking for advanced clinical practice assessment and handling techniques.

  • Can I attend this course online?

    No, the practical component of this course is only for live, in-person participants

  • Will Mandy be at the practical course?

    Mandy Roscher will be teaching the practical component of the course virtually via teams. Ruth Hopper will be there as an in-person tutor to co-ordinate and supervise the practice sessions.

  • Do I have to be a model for the manual therapy techniques

    This course is 2 full days and as such we will be practicing techniques on each other within the course. Whilst we try to be accommodating to everyone, participants who are not volunteering themselves cannot be guaranteed that they will be able to perform the manual therapy techniques on another participant and may end up attending the practical in an observational capacity only.

Mandy Roscher

Mandy Röscher is a Physiotherapist living in Brisbane, Australia Mandy qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 2008. She has worked in Private Practice since she qualified. She has a keen special interest in all things Pelvic Health. Mandy has a passion for teaching and mentoring and has presented to thousands of Physiotherapists globally. Her courses, while based on the most current evidence available, are extremely clinically orientated. She focuses on the clinical application and integration of current research and practice with the goal being that course participants leave feeling their circle of competence has increased.
